30' Catalina 30

Chili Breeze is a tall rig, shoal draft Catalina 30 in good condition.The interior is roomy and able to sleep 6. The main cabin has a very comfortable u-shaped dinette along the port side that converts into a double sleeping area. There is a straight settee on the starboard. Moving aft the u-shaped galley is on the port side and the navigation station is across from it.

The exterior offers a large cockpit and decks that are easy to navigate.

Chili Breeze has been well maintained and shows pride in ownership. It is currently in the water and ready for showings. All photos are from October 2021. Chili Breeze is a great family friendly cruising boat!

SAILS AND RIGGING
Main and genoa in decent shape.
Genoa restitched in 2020.
The boat came with an older but lightly used spare jib. We have always sailed with the genoa.
New headstay and roller furler in 2019.
New main halyard and jib halyard in 2019.
New jib sheets in 2020.
Unsure of age of standing rigging. Had it professionally tuned in 2020 and 2021.

ELECTRICAL
Renology 20A MPPT Charge Controller.
Xantrex Multi-State Battery Charger.
2 Lifeline 100 ah AGM batteries installed in 2018 or 2019
New 100 Watt flexible solar panel in 2021. Keeps the batteries topped off.
New depth finder in 2021.
New LED bulbs in steaming light in 2019.
New bilge pump float switch in 2020.

ENGINE
25 hp Universal diesel
Engine serviced and winterized (2019, 2020) by professional mechanic. Has not been winterized for 2021.
New engine stop cable in 2020.
New Raycor fuel water separator in 2019.

THINGS THAT DO NOT WORK
Wind and speed instruments do not work. We use GPS for speed.
Chartplotter is functional but is near the end of life. We use the chartplotter along with the Navionics app on an iPhone.
The anchor light does not work. We hang an LED lantern when anchoring out.
The previous owners informed us that the autopilot does not work.
Main winch works but needs servicing.

ANCHORING
Main anchor is a Rochna 10kg (22 lbs) with approx 10 feet of chain.
200 ft of 5/8in double braid nylon anchor line installed in 2020.
Spare anchor and anchor line included.

OTHER
Stove is original. We used a portable butane stove instead.
Bimini restitched by Bacon Sails in 2021.
New barrier coat in 2018 and bottom professionally decorated with ablative paint each year since.
