1975 Gulfstar sailboat. Engine hours unknown, though it starts immediately and runs smoothly for hours. I've run the engine all day on delta cruises and down to half moon bay and back. The transmission has about 50-70 hours on it. The prop is about three years old as well as a complete strip down and barrier paint (4 layers) and bottom paint is the more expensive longer lasting type (done in Napa) also three years ago. The mainsail (on a 1 to 10 scale) is a 9 and headsail a 7. Good enough for coastal sailing. The anchor is new and a great performer around the bay and delta. The new depth/speed/temperature sensor is ready to be connected to B and G instruments. The mattress in the aft cabin is two years old with little use cost $1000. Very comfortable. The salon was completely reupholstered $8000 (2 years old). Super comfy. Water and fuel tank are good, seacocks were cleaned and lubed when out of the water three years ago. The steering has a new steering cable and has been lubed and tensioned. The rudder was rebuilt at its last haul out in Napa. It was time. It needs a new mast base (or not...you decide). Most have told me that it's a straight forward repair. The furler works well. The blocks and winches are relatively new. The main mounted winch is about three years old.
