62' Boat Heaven Yard Cape Town So Africa Dewars62

PROJECT Boat. This is an awesome vessel that needs a VERY capable person to bring her back to life. This vessel was designed and built for the southern ocean and for the purpose of the Cape Town to Rio race. She has some thoroughbred in her as well as a world cruiser. Her hull is made of 5208 aluminum and has had a complete application( many coats) of Ceram Coat to protect her hull. She is in fresh water and has been for at least the last 15 yrs. I have all her detailed construction specs and some of the line drawings. Although her hull is aluminum there are no hard chines in her construction, looks like molded fiberglass! The masts are in storage and both are in good shape, with the rigging and winches. She carries 1800sf of basic sail area. The last person that purchased this boat ran into some hard time and was unable to afford or pay for her and when returned it had been left in its present condition. The aluminum is in very good condition and great detail had been taken to have no/ little dissimilar metals. Shes very worthy for the RIGHT person!
