Description: |
Island Packet 485 Priva Sea V-2003 is a beautiful vessel resonating with the renowned qualities and features of Island Packet's flagship along with the conscious care and improvements by her first and current, second owner. Priva Sea V is outfitted for serious offshore cruising and circumnavigation, but due to health reasons is being offered for sale. Along with her standard appointments, you will enjoy her vast inventory of new components, upgrades and equipment. She is in excellent condition, clean and ready for your long range cruising and liveaboard ambitions. She slipped off her jack stands and settled to the ground during storm/hurricane and as result her mast broke. All standing rigging and mast were purchased directly from Island Packet and installed by professional riggers. All chain plates were replaced by Mack Yacht Services Inc. in January 2023. Exterior wood painted in Jan 2023 Deck waxing done in Jan 2023 There was no damage to hull or structural damage you can check survey and you can check yourself because hull and bottom are in original shape. This is Island Packet, these boats are like tanks. Bottom painting was done in November 2022. Most of the equipment /instruments on Priva Sea V were replaced or upgraded. I also added a few improvements that are not original to the boat. I was preparing the boat for around the world sailing and the goal was to minimize equipment failures and for more convenient maintenance. See some of them below: . Replacement Jabsco macerator( bolts rusting and very often broke) for Dometic TW-Series Macerator with Discharge Pump-2021. . New toilets to avoid original vacuum pumps (original ones were very difficult to maintain, for example almost impossible to change duck valves for aftforward toilet vacuum pump).-2020 . Water transfer hose from water tank to toilet freshwater tank to avoid surprises that there is no water to flush toilets -2020 . Sunpower 1500W Solar panels with (3) Victron Smart Solar Bluetooth MPPT Solar Charge Controllers (2019). One of the reasons for this |
