Brighter Days has a vertical clearance of 63 which allows her to traverse nearly the entire Intercontinental Waterway. We enjoyed this on many occasions, and makes Brighter Days a very unique Catamaran for the US east coast.
Brighter Days had all the factory recommended recall issues dealt with back in 2018, Including the bulkhead issue and the escape hatches. All this was professionally resolved by Saint Augustine Marina. The repairs were done by the previous owner and done under lagoons guidance.
Brighter Days has normal wear and tear of a 12 year old boat, overall good condition.
This boat is self sufficient with its off grid system, no built in generator which is a HUGE weight saver. Each engine has a 150 amp alternator for charging if necessary, although this is rarely necessary. We also have a 3000 watt portable generator that fits conveniently in a cockpit locker, though I have never used this other than to fire it up every so often to keep it running.
About us: We are a young family of 4 who have called Brighter Days home continuously for the last 2 years. We have sailed her over 10,000 nm as a family including the west coast of Florida, the entire east coast, Bahamas, Caribbean, Panama, Columbia, Mexico and back! The adventures have been life changing for us and now its time for us to get the kids back in school and near family/friends. Brighter Days has treated us very well over the last few years and is ready to do the same for her next owners.
Diesels just services including oil/filter change, fuel/filter change, Impellers replaced, Racor filters changed,fuel stabilizer added. These diesels run perfectly and reliably.
