34' O'Day 34

The O'Day 34 is a comfortable, spacious cruising boat with excellent sailing performance. While designed as a coastal cruiser, a sistership, YUKON JACK, was the overall winner of the 1989 Marion - Bermuda race.

Kismet is a shoal draft model. With a draft of only 4' 3," she can venture into places that most boats her size are unable to enter. Kismet has had good care. She's been hauled for the winter and stretch wrapped to keep her in pristine shape. She may be easily inspected at Jefferson Beach Marina.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Kismet sleeps six. The V-berth forward with drawer storage and shelves port and starboard. Enclosed head with vanity and shower next aft to port, hanging locker opposite to starboard. Main cabin with settees port and starboard. Port settee pulls out to convert to a double berth. Bulkhead-mounted teak dining table with leaf. The galley is aft to port. Nav table and a quarter berth opposite to starboard.

GALLEY

The U-shaped galley is aft to port and features a stainless steel three-burner propane stove with oven, double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurized water, and 12/110-volt Norcold cold plate air-cooled refrigerated ice box.

HULL & DECK

White topsides, white deck with contrasting tan nonskid, blue bottom, blue cove, and boot stripes. Edson pedestal wheel steering. Bow anchor roller, recessed foredeck anchor locker, double lifelines with boarding gates port and starboard, transom-mounted stainless steel swim ladder. Six opening ports, one overhead hatch. Transom-mounted swim ladder.

SAILS AND RIGGING

Keel-stepped mast. Cruising design continuous line roller-furling system for Genoa. North sail inventory includes a fully-battened mainsail with three sets of reef points and a Battslide system and roller-furling 135% genoa, both in good condition. Asymmetrical Spinnaker (red & white).
