42' Whitby Whitby 42

This is a 1972 Whitby 42. It spent about 10 years sitting without being touched so it is a pretty big project boat. I took it on as a project but with a new baby its not gonna happen. This boat was set up originally to do long distance cruising and has lots of valuable parts that come along with it. The boat has great bones. The decks are solid and ringing looks pretty good. I have not put anytime into seeing if the engine runs or not but the lower quarter of the engine that sits pretty low in the bildge looks like its spent some time in water. You never know though, these old diesel engines can be pretty robust. This boat has a lot of perks to it. It has a generator that looks to be in good shape, an air conditioner, two heads, some of the sails are in decent shape, an aft cabin and can comfortably sleep 7. This boat would be a fantastic live aboard once its fixed up. I have stripped down the inside of the boat to clean and with the intention of painting.
