HAILING ALL PILOTS AND ENGINEERS! THIS IS YOUR DREAM COME TRUE IN A CIRCUMNAVIGATING SAILING VESSEL!
Dont let the hull age fool you, this boat went through a complete 4-year refit/rebuild/re power beginning in 1999. She used to be a standard Oceanis 500 with 5 beds and 5 heads. She came out of the professional South Texas Yacht Service yard in 2003 as a reconfigured 2 bed, 2 head sailing dream. For the past 11 years she has been owned/operated and maintained (with even further upgrades!) by a retired submarine engineer who is also a pleasure pilot. Safety and maintenance has been meticulous and well documented. There are too many upgrades to list them all, but some of the most notable are: Repowered with Westerbeke, naturally aspirated 90hp engine in 2000, top end completed in 2010 Upgraded to a Westerbeke 15.5kw generator with separated exhaust system which makes it super quiet!
