She is liveaboard ready, and is currently a full-time liveaboard. Everything having to do with living aboard and/or making multi-day passages, coastal cruising, island hopping etc. has been replaced and/or upgraded with new parts. Everything we have done to the boat is less than 18 months old and in some cases has not been used yet. Transferable slip at the Port Aransas Marina, fully renovated with floating docks, city water, metered power, full bathrooms, laundry room, package delivery etc.
With just over 6ft of headroom and a large V-berth, she is the perfect boat for a couple looking to do some Gulf sailing, and even to take down to the Caribbean on a longer journey. This boat could sleep 4 with a generous quarter berth and starboard berth. She has had an engine conversion (formerly an Atomic 4 gas engine), and now has a significant upgrade to the Beta Marine diesel engine with 20HP and less than 200 hours. Her other significant upgrades include a new Garmin touchscreen chart plotter system, radar and VHF, 2 new water bladders, and a Dometic 12,500 BTU(oversized for this boat)Air Conditioner, which is a must on the Texas Coast! Full list of upgrades and new gear below. As with all old sailboats some work remains to be done, but overall she is in good working order.
