EmMi is a 2003 Passport 456 Center Cockpit cutter rigged sloop, ready to take you cruising throughout the Chesapeake, Caribbean, or around the world! Designed by legendary naval architect Robert Perry, she was quality built in China & thoughtfully finished by Passport Yachts in Annapolis, MD. She was commissioned by her first owners in the Summer of 2003 on the Chesapeake Bay and after one season the boat was moved to Jamestown, Rhode Island. Due to the relatively short seasons in Rhode Island, she was only lightly enjoyed. In 2009 she found a new owner and has taken her crew safely to and from the United States & Caribbean via the Caribbean 1500 and Salty Dawg Rallys. In 2022 she found her third owner that has her currently located in Norfolk VA. She is a comfortable & well-founded blue water boat with nearly 19k miles under her keel, ideally equipped and constructed in the manner for anyone wanting to enjoy serious ocean cruising or coastal sailing near home. They dont make them like this anymore!
Interior EmMi is a two-cabin center cockpit boat with the added benefit of a utility/workroom. Double walk throughs in the galley and utility room enable one to gain easy access to the aft master state room from port or starboard. The interior is bright, open, and airy with beautiful teak joinery and finishes everywhere complimented by leather upholstery. Ventilation and lighting is abundant with many large opening hatches and portlights, all with removable insect screens. Four large adjustable dorade cowl vents funnel air into the main salon and aft cabin during inclement weather and prevent mold and mildew. Forward is the guest state room with a v-berth, ensuite head and separate shower stall. Outboard of the berth are lockers and book shelves and ample storage is available under the berth and in a hanging locker and a shelf locker. Aft of the guest stateroom is the main saloon with a u-shaped dinette, with large and small tables to port and a settee to starboard. |
