Description: |
USHAS combines features that are increasingly difficult to find in one offshore yacht: substantial hand-laid fiberglass construction, a protected center cockpit, handcrafted teak interior, two private staterooms, long-range tankage, a stand-up engine room and an adjoining workshop all supported by documented professional modernization. Recreating this combination in another yacht would be difficult and costly. She is our actively cruised home, with machinery and systems in regular use and available to demonstrate.
She measures approximately 48 ft at the hull and 51 ft overall including bowsprit. Her structurally integrated stern forms part of the hull and aft decknot a bolt-on platformcreating a substantial working deck, storage, practical water access and an approximately 43 ft sailing waterline. Tankage is approximately 203 US gal fuel and 300 US gal water.
Documented work includes the Trans Atlantic Diesel comprehensively rebuilt Perkins 4.236M 85 hp diesel installed and commissioned in 2017; ABYC Certified Deltaville Yard engineered composite deck and custom Luthers USCG Specified aluminum tanks; Mack Sails replacement standing rigging, Hood mast/furling refurbishment and new sails; Hinckley Yatchs bottom and cutless-bearing service; and extensive 2025 Refit RAM Marina exterior, bottom, mechanical, shaft-line, running-rigging, deck-hardware and electrical modernization.
Current systems include 920Ah Epoch lithium, Victron MultiPlus 3000W/Ekrano GX, approximately 800W solar, Balmar 250A/WakeSpeed charging, Raymarine navigation/radar/autopilot, Starlink and dual-zone air conditioning.
Clear Title, registration and ownership documentation. Survey and sea trial welcome.
Luperon, Dominican Republic is approximately 1.5 hours from Puerto Plata (POP) airport.
