Viewing interior pictures ,from main Salon going into port hull(6'3")forward is a queen size bed. Going aft is Nav area and storage, all the way aft is the head. Crossing over to starboard in main salon is electrical panel and air conditioner. Before stepping into stb hull on the right is the frig. In the stb hull fwd are two bunks, one V berth 6.5'x34"and second berth 6'2"x 34". Going aft is the galley and storage and all the way aft is very large storage which used to be a bunk.In the cockpit, headroom under steering station is 5'10", under the cockpit Bimini is 6'6" These older Geminis are still excellent liveaboards whether at a Marina or cruising the shallow waters of the Bahamas,Belize etc. With the kick-up rudders and centerboards, draft is about 1 1/2 to 5 feet, you can get into some very nice areas for cruising or anchoring. Vessel has not been sailed very much by any of the 3 owners. 95 percent of the time vessel has been tied up at a dock mostly as liveaboard. I have owned the vessel for 10 years and most of the time it has been tied up at my dock except for the occasional cruise and fishing and anchoring overnight. I will take more pictures for a serious buyer and will deduct $ 1100 if you want to buy a new dinghy outboard or already have one. Condition of vessel is average to fair. I am also willing to offer some free dockage for 2-3 months For now I am firm on the asking price, I will wait and see what the interest is after the vessel has been seen by a few potential buyers.

44' Elan Impression 434
2008 Lanzarote Canary Islands Spain Outside United States 44 Elan Impression 434
“Our Alibi” is an Elan Impression 434 like no other. Like all Humphreys designed cruisers, there's no question she's a comfortable modern cruising yacht offering an exceptional on board experience whether at anchor or under sail. However, with a long list of upgrades, custom features and professional modifications, she offers passage making capabilities normally found only in a much higher price bracket for a boat of this size and vintage. Having completed an Atlantic circuit (Madeira – West Indies – Bermuda – Azores – Madeira) in the first half of 2015, she has recently cruised the Canary Islands and is now lying at Marina Lanzarote. In other words, she's already perfectly positioned for another westbound Atlantic crossing. And that's exactly what she'll be doing in Jan/Feb 2017... destination Guadeloupe. If your desire is to explore the Med, she’s only 4 or 5 days’ sail from Gib. Then again, there's absolutely nothing wrong with sailing the Atlantic islands (Canaries, Madeira and the Azores) which is easily done from her current base. I wouldn't hesitate to deliver her to any reasonable location a newer owner desires, or to make a short familiarization passage with the new owner. But hurry if you want her on the other sde of the Atlantic... from mid-January onwards she'll be on passage to Guadeloupe, and of course you can see her there or elsewhere in the eastern Caribbean after mid-Feb 2017. She is offered at US$189,000 which represents exceptional value to a prospective purchaser who appreciates the full features of this world cruiser. She is 'priced to sell'. The asking price is below "agreed-value replacement" in the current insurance policy written by Pantaenius, and roughly US$125,000 below the cost of the equivalent boat purchased new today. To receive a slideshow describing the yacht and all her features, together with a detailed equipment/cost schedule that tells the story much better, please e-mail me at yacht.ouralibi@gmail.com

Tiller steering with auto pilot, Volvo 2002 18hp diesel with low hours, new Lazy Jacks, many extras go with boat you will need a pickup or large car for the extras. columbia-yachts.com/c-8-7.html She is located at Regatta Point Marina in Palmetto, FL my slip rent is $315, easy out to the gulf.

Prima Luce (First Light) is "on the hard" in IGY Marina, Gros Islet, St. Lucia with a fresh, new coat of anti-fouling, Nov 2016 (even as I type); brand new mainsail, battens and bag. Lovely boat ... have had her now for 6 years in the Caribbean (6 months per year) - new anti-fouling every year. Not only have the last 6 years living on her been the best years of our lives' in terms of peace, serenity, comfort and joy, but also knowing and greeting locals and cruisers alike, as we sailed from Tortola to Grenada and back and forth in between, has been an ever-learning adventure ... here, at the Windward Islands ... poised for CIRCUMNAVIGATION and / or further in-trepidation ... the Caribbean? Are you kidding? Children, grandchildren and dotage are beckoning and the end is nigh, for us ... Our price is $72,000! Buy Prima Luce, now, and we'll pay for your flight from Continental North America to St. Lucia. Included is a November, 2015, Marine Survey (out of water and in the water) If interested, please contact us, David (a.k.a., Santa) and / or Mary Greig at "greigdw@gmail.com" or in and around Rodney Bay, Gros Islet or IGY Marina. We are here right now (Nov 22, 2016 until Dec 08, 2016), living on "Prima Luce", "on the hard", living and loving the Island and its numerous attractions and convenience of provisioning. Are there any adventurers ready to take a cruise to Martinique and back to St. Lucia to familiarize with their new sailing vessel (if we agree to a price) and to do the sweet deed in international waters? She is neither the best nor the worst 393 in the fleet, but a $72,000, you would be getting the best deal with the most potential. I just paid the workmen $2,500 USD for the work they did on the bottom, topsides, deck and chrome. Beautiful! Obviously she's a beauty boat or I wouldn't be fixing her up. email: greigdw@gmail.com Come on Down ... you'll love Saint Lucia!!!

53' Custom Aluminum Lifting Keel Sailboat
2014 Deltaville Virginia 53 Custom Aluminum Lifting Keel Sailboat
REFINED 53' CUSTOM ALUMINUM PASSAGEMAKER Maximizing security in planning a custom boat focuses on the risk of collision at sea. Colliding with a 250,000-lbs barely awash container at 7/8 knots will instantly sink a fiberglass boat and crumple the bow of an aluminum boat--which it is engineered to do but without intrusion of water. Dodge Morgan asked Ted Hood to specify that American Promise's stem have 5 inches of solid glass to withstand an 8-knot collision with a container which never occurred. After her circumnavigation, she was donated to the Naval Academy in 1986. In 1991, with three officers and nine midshipmen on board, she struck a coal barge in the Chesapeake and sank; the barge was not damaged. The aluminum racer Yankee Girl fell victim to errant navigation and washed ashore on a rocky Block Island beach in 1976, coming to rest in a foot and a half of water but drawing nine feet. She lay on her side for several months, dragged back and forth across the rocks. When salvaged, her topsides were dramatically deflected and distorted but her hull was never breached and she did not leak. It is the ductility of aluminum which enables it to absorb energy by distorting without breaking. In pointing out that aluminum, for the same weight, is stronger than steel, Dave Gerr, in The Elements of Boat Strength, also states that aluminum, being more ductile than steel is therefore also better able to absorb energy.

Get an amazing price on one of the worlds great classics. I have had this boat for approximately three years and sailed her to Cuba, Mexico, Belize, and along the Fl coast. She has been dry docked that last two years and in need of someone to lovingly restore her. Engine is inoperable and will need to be replaced. Work needs to be done on various components including the galley, head, and steering systems. The bones of the boat are solid but time and salt have done their work and she will need someone who is keen on restoring her. 'John Webb' is currently stored at glades boat yard and is available for viewing by appointment. The price is firm as I am not desperate to sell and I want her to go to the right individual who will appreciate such a fantastic vessel. Restored she is work three times the asking price. 34.5' Tartan 3400
2006 Barrington Rhode Island 34.5 Tartan 3400
Owned by a very experienced cruiser who is a Captain and ASA Certified Instructor, Oasis is extremely well equipped, has been treated to all necessary upgrades, and has been cared for meticulously! If you are looking for a turnkey cruiser that performs well and you can feel comfortable and safe going anywhere, look no further. It will be worth your while to examine this treasure. Well equipped, ready to go, needs nothing. Come take a look, you will not be disappointed. The Tartan 3400 is both a tribute to the rich history of her predecessors and the embodiment of Tartan Yachts' dedication to advanced construction and equipment technologies. Following in the wake of nearly 1,000 34-foot Tartans, spread over a production run from the late 60's (Tartan 34 Classic) through the late 80's (Tartan 34II), she shares traditional good looks with both models and embraces innovative design elements to simplify sailhandling and provide superior performance. These refinements to the performance cruiser are made possible by Tartan's dedication to advancements in materials and methods, previously available only in the custom boat market or through prohibitively expensive options. The 3400's high volume hull form provides enough space for exceptional cruising accommodations and storage and a powerful shape that is easily driven and in balance over a wide range of sailing conditions. Forward sections are slightly veed providing an easy motion in a seaway and her aft sections are full and flat offering high speed potential in heavy conditions. The hull's volume is evenly distributed through her length, which provides a symmetrical shape at all heel angles and maintains her light helm in more challenging conditions. The deck is designed for maximum comfort and safety and embraces classic yacht aesthetics. Her cockpit offers high seatbacks for comfort and a deep and secure cockpit for safety. Wide sidedecks allow her crew to move fore and aft without being encumbered by the excessive house structures seen on so many current production offerings.

The fractional rig design makes sail trim easy and the light weight, rugged hull has certainly withstood the test of time. This is the 'Mk II' version which has 'back rests' in the cockpit to prevent cockpit flooding when sailing offshore. Making her a very able offshore boat. This is a 3 owner boat is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. The current owner has cared for her for 16 years. 43' New Orleans Marine Serendipity 43 / Doug Peterson
1982 SF Bay Area California 43 New Orleans Marine Serendipity 43 / Doug Peterson
Nov, 5th, 2016 - Price drop to $84,000 (no brokers). Hauling out this month. Please see videos here: youtu.be/P7-NJ5KeMn4 Hooked is a lot of boat for her size and price tag. US designed and built to race offshore. She has had a major cruising refit that sets her apart from the rest of the Serendipity 43 fleet. Plus, current ongoing multi-year refit with modernization. She is a very bluewater cruiser-friendly vessel above and below. Above: Cockpit, with a cut-out transom useful for swimming from, dinghy boarding to safe mob retrieval. Hard bimini and canvas to the dodger. Dodger just remodeled with larger and new plastic (Nov.2016) Foredeck, has safe wide side-decks, the "doghouse" is both a great spot for dogs or crew on watch. The flush deck can hold two large dinghies (up to 11/12') Below: With her companionway moved aft vs other S43 she has just three steps. King size wide, tapers to a double after cabin berth. Large wet locker, tons of storage (as in months of provisioning). Galley is usable in heavy weather, the separate freezer and fridge are massive (new compressor draws 4/5amps). Easy access above and on sides to the Yanmar. Wide and long crew berths, large tv on custom mount, convertible dinette, and impressive sound system w/subwoofer make living aboard great. Large head w/electric jabsco, again lots of storage. Separate shower with a seat. Small workshop and vberth-with custom cabinetry. With her thoroughbred pedigree this sailboat would be perfect for: 1) A family who wants to go cruising in a fast enough boat, built for bluewater, to get you to shelter before a storm 2) A person who wants to go offshore eventually but until then race in the bay and do YRA/ocean races and Pac Cup/TransPac 3) A couple who wants to win beer cans, even as a live-aboard She is a double digit boat, just earlier this month in 15 knot winds we hit 8 knots with jib alone. 13kts double reefed main and cruising chute. She truly shines in all points of sail and in any condition. For more specs please email.

34.5' Hunter Hunter 34
1983 Luperon Dominican Republic Outside United States 34.5 Hunter Hunter 34
Hello everyone After 1 year and 5 months of sailing with our beloved Hunter, it's time for us to put it for sale, and to move forward. We bought in May 2015 a Hunter 34.5 feet for $ 32,000 CAD (24 000 USD). Since then, we have invested nearly $ 29,000 in it. We have: Added all electronic equipment necessary for navigation such as: a depth sounder, GPS (with all maps of the world), an autopilot, a new battery bank (brand new), a solar panel 250W smart charger. We changed the cushions of the master bedroom, couch, and benches for the main table. We built a new door for the boat (safer) and an outdoor table for the cockpit. We rebuild the engine! (Reassembled piece-by-piece, everything had to be replaced was replaced). We secure the sails and change the lines to be changed. We changed the anchor to replace it with a grear Delta 44. We built a stand to support the solar panel, and the same cost, to hang the dinghy (suspend using pulleys). We have added a support for the motor Dinghy behind the boat. We changed the water heater. We changed the compressor and the evaporator of the refrigerator. We changed the pump for the toilet. We added a BBQ. We’ve added LED lights. We changed the bilge pumps. This boat is in great condition! It is ready to go! Why do we sell our boat? For those who do not know us, we are a young couple who have sold everything and left everything to sail around the world on a sailboat. We left Lake Champlain, and we are now in the Dominican Republic. When we left in 2015, we bought the Hunter, because this was the best –Price and value to begin our adventure. It is reliable, easy to navigate, perfect for the Caribbean and the West Indies, fast and efficient. Now, after a year and five months of navigation, an opportunity was offered to us ... An older boat, bigger, more complex, heavy and slow, but certainly a better choice to cross the ocean, changing continent (the ultimate goal) and probably even one day go to Antarctica. Although a Hunter is fully capable of doing all this, we are ready for a new experience.

53' Amel Super Maramu 53
1990 Nanny Cay British Virgin Islands Caribbean Outside United States 53 Amel Super Maramu 53
Simply the best buy in the world for one of these legendary cruisers. This particular Super Maramu has spent more than half her life hauled out of the water and under covers as her original owner only sailed her a few months of each year. Compare her to boats that have spent their entire lives in service and in the water and anyone who understands fiberglass will see the attraction of a dry hull that has never even seen a hint of osmosis! Add to this her young, low hours engine and generator, her exceptional sail inventory, brand new standing and running rigging and her overall very good cosmetic condition, and then consider her recent improvements and excellent maintenance and you will agree that this is by far the best value for a Super Marmamu anywhere on the planet. An exceptional blue-water cruiser, the Amel Super Maramu is world-renowned among discerning yachtsmen. Luxuriously appointed, solidly built with top-quality materials and many extra safety features (like water-tight compartmentalization), the Super Maramu is a sailor’s dream. Down below, she is extremely comfortable yet eminently practical in design with two staterooms and heads, two extra single berths in the side cabin and main cabins, sumptuously upholstered settees, beautiful African mahogany throughout, and storage that is more than ample. On deck, sailing is a joy with everything operated from the helm: Electric furling sails, Electric winches, anchor windlass and retractable bow thruster all within easy reach. The helm has a comfortable chair and is protected by a solid dodger with hard windscreen that opens when ventilation is desired. Storage lockers are plentiful and there is a huge cockpit locker and enormous lazarette aft, plus two sizable deck lockers forward. This Super Maramu was singlehanded across the Atlantic in 1992 has been sailed seasonally in the Caribbean ever since. She has been hauled out for each summer since 1996 and has been covered while on shore to keep her gelcoat nice. She was re-powered with a much more ecologically efficient Volvo turbo diesel in 2004.

35' Bristol 35 Yawl
1972 Sarasota Florida 35 Bristol 35 Yawl
Bristol 35 Yawl 1972 The John Alden designed Bristol 35 is a classic yacht that never quits turning heads. I bought this boat in 1973 when she was only 2 months old, and it’s been in my hands ever since. The original builder’s order included many upgrades at the time, such as replacing the Atomic 4 gas engine with the Volvo MD 2B diesel, and adding the Yawl rig to the stern. I sailed her in the NJ/NY area until 1980, then brought her south to Sarasota. One of the unique aspects is her shoal draft of only 3’7”. Originally designed as a swing keel to 6’6”, she was modified in 1985, had the dagger board removed under the direction of Bristol Yachts, and a stainless steel 7’ x 6” x 3/8” plate installed to cover the board trunk. It was then completely fiber-glassed and faired. This gives the vessel a more rigid attitude, and she tracks wonderful in heavy wind. Complete specifications of the Volvo engine is at Beta Marine in the UK. Most boats in the early 70’s were very light on std. equipment. Over the years I replaced the external running rigging with internal halyards, added spinnaker gear and winches for around the buoys racing at the yacht club, added electric windlass, and microwave and replaced the Formica counter tops with a tile surface. In 2015 she got a complete Awlgrip job, both topsides and decks, ALL NEW bronze thru-hull fittings, a NEW mainsail rigged for club racing and reefing, and all new sail covers including the roller furling. I have several hank-on jibs (#2 & #3) that I stopped using after installing the roller reefing in 2002, but they will go with the boat. The Volvo MD 2B was completely rebuilt for $2,100, using the same crank, in 2005, and runs like new. I exchanged the 2 small car-style 12 volt batteries with 2 large Gel 8D West Marine batteries for more Elec power. I recently added a flat screen color TV, and replaced the toilet in the head with a new one in 2016. The hot water heater was replaced in 2016 with a Stainless heater, and there is a 3 burner gimbaled stove and inverter 1,000watt

The Mason 43 is a well proven offshore cruising boat with many successful circumnavigations and notable passages to her credit. The Masons were built with very robust scantlings and high levels of interior finish work not seen in todays yachts. This is a boat that will take care of you when the weather turns bad and inspire confidence in her captain and crew. The Masons will appeal to those who prefer a wholesome, traditional, sea kindly design over a light displacement yacht with a quick and occasionally violent motion. Her interior offers accommodations for two couples or the cruising family in a beautifully detailed varnished teak environment. NOAH with her second owner of 26 years has cruised New England, the Caribbean, the Greek Islands, Croatia/Italy, the Black Sea and parts of SE Asia including India, Malaysia and Thailand. She is now lying in Marmaris, Turkey and is seriously for sale due to the owners' health concerns. NOAH has been regularly upgraded and is ready for new adventures. She represents an opportunity to purchase a serious cruising yacht in one of the worlds most appealing cruising areas at a very favorable price.

21' Open Sailing Pogo 2 Mini Transat
2013 Larchmont New York 21 Open Sailing Pogo 2 Mini Transat
Abilyn is a 2013 Pogo2 Mini Transat 6.50. Undoubtedly, Abilyn has transformed me from a racer/cruiser into a true seaman, and has unlocked resourcefulness and capabilities that I never knew I possessed. From hitting a top speed of 17.5 knots while sailing downwind in 30 knots of breeze in the 2015 Around Long Island Regatta en route to rounding Montauk only 1 hour and 15 minutes after Warrior Won (the overall 2016 Newport-Bermuda winner), to repairing Abilyn's rudders in the service entrance of my apartment building in Brooklyn, sailing and owning Abilyn has been amazingly rewarding, exciting, and invaluable. If you want to develop your skills as a fully-capable, self-reliant, offshore sailor, or just want to blast around at 15 knots downwind with a grin from ear to ear while not spending a ton of money to do so, this is the boat for you. Find more details about this boat, and my own journey sailing here at www.abilynracing.com/the-boat.

This Dick Carter classic designed schooner is a unique vessel, one of only four known in the world! Her heavy duty, 5 ton hydraulic swing keel with 3'6" to 10' draft allows for a flexible sailing options including the shallow areas of waters like the Bahamas, Fl west coast, and other shoal draft waters. She has a brand new Yanmar engine and transmission (30 hours) with warranty and recent generator. Justice is a proven performer having been trans-Atlantic, from the Mediterranean to the US to South America, Cuba, the Bahamas and Eastern Canada. Her interior is in good condition with attractive wood paneling and cabinets and very comfortable master stateroom. A rare vessel with beautiful lines for the knowledgeable sailor by one of the most famous American sailboat designers. Designed ala Italian luxury sailing yacht Perini Navi concept with Italian styling and attention to detail. “JUSTICE” is an Equal-Masted Staysail Schooner with Alga Rig. Her European-style Rig makes her a fast sailer and consists of 2 equal-height masts and 3 furling sails: a working jib and a Genoa, each on its own forestay at the bow and a lose-footed staysail on its own stay reaching from the base of the forward mast to the top of the aft mast. The working jib is self-tending and the staysail can be rigged to be self-tending as well, making short-handed sailing quite feasible.

22' Cape Dory 22D
1982 Lindenhurst Storage Pd to 4152017 New York 22 Cape Dory 22D
Designer: Carl Alberg The Cape Dory 22D is a compact yacht with “big boat” features. The boat has beautiful, traditional lines. It is sloop rigged and has a full keel which makes it very sea kindly, safe and stable on all points of sail. This boat has the D label because it has a Yanmar Inboard 6.5 Diesel Engine. The 22D is extremely hard to find on the market. My current survey shows no Cape Dory 22Ds to be found at this point. DO NOT CONFUSE IT WITH A CAPE DORY 22 WHICH NEEDS AN OUTBOARD ENGINE. It is very easy to single hand with a self-tacking jib and a Harken Roller Furling system. The boat has a self-bailing cockpit. While it does not come with a trailer the boat is easily trailerable. Below decks, teak trim accent the warm, spacious interior. Four opening bronze ports and a Lexan deck hatch provide light and ventilation. It has a large Vee Berth forward and Settees and quarter berths that allow sleeping for 4. The boat has Teak trim on the sole and bulkheads. The galley has a deep stainless steel sink with generous storage space and a drop in ice box. This boat goes anywhere from a lazy afternoon sail inland to overnight coastal cruising. It is a very pretty boat and very easy to sail with others and alone. I am only selling it because my wife and I have bought a much bigger boat. It is in good condition but the woodwork must be refreshed. KEEP IN MIND THAT IF YOU BUY IT NOW YOU HAVE YOUR STORAGE PAID THROUGH APRIL 15TH OF 2017.

Lots of pics and videos: Click here Yume is a 1984 Irwin 41 Hull # 44 and is ready for you to go anywhere you want to – today. We can prove it as we have been continually moving in her for almost three years! We bought her in Savannah Ga in Oct 2013 and loved her for the draft (4.5’) and the amazing liveaboard accommodations for three adults and planned full time cruising on the east coast and Bahamas. Plus we liked the way she looked with low freeboard, beautiful lines, and wide, clean decks. She needed work! We have now completed 3 complete round trips Marathon to Washington DC, plus another 1000 miles or so. We are in DC heading south mid November. In the time we have been aboard, Yume has undergone a complete overhaul to be not only the boat we bought, but also a comfortable liveaboard built to live off the grid. Rarely do we dock.

Its hull is excellent and interior was probably never used for overnight. Trailer ability, comfort, quality and fun are the key components in the Hunter 23.5, a sailboat that does so much, so well. A water ballast system is central to the 23.5's ability to be easily trailered, and yet able to sail well. 32' Islander 32 MK II
1979 Groton Connecticut 32 Islander 32 MK II
The Islander 32 MK II is a nice looking boat. The bow is raked nicely, has a subtle sheer and the reverse transom flows into the hull line. The lines make it look as though it is larger and more modern sailboat than it actually is. The leading edge of the deep fin keel is raked aft. It has a large semi balanced rudder that is mounted well aft and provides excellent rudder control with the tiller. The Islander 32 is a masthead sloop rig with a Keel-stepped spar, tall rig with an air draft of 47 feet. The hull is solid fiberglass and the deck is plywood cored. The hull-to-deck joint includes the aluminum toenail that runs nearly the entire length of the deck. The shrouds are mounted inboard, making it easy to navigate the side decks and improves the the sheeting angle. it has a anchor roller forward with an external self draining anchor locker. The MK II has a spacious, comfortable cockpit. It has mid boom sheeting with the traveler over the companionway. There are lockers aft, to port and starboard. The interior is spacious, comfortable and has ample storage. The finish is dark teak, the workmanship is first rate and large port lights brighten things up. The interior arrangement is conventional. The forward V-berth has storage below. Next aft is a hanging locker to port with the head opposite. The saloon has a large table that folds away onto the main bulkhead creating a feeling of roominess. Offset settees with cane faced lockers above that are attractive and practical as they allow the lockers to breath. On L-shaped gallery witch include a three-burner stove and oven. It has a single sink and decent sized icebox. The electrical panels are tucked away on the aft bulkhead just to port of the companionway and a quarterberth is to starboard. It has a 13 horsepower Volvo Engine tucked away under the companionway and is easy to work on. Fuel capacity is about 21.6 gallons. The 32 MK II is nimble, well balance, fairly fast and able to stand up to a blow. The boat is quite seaworthy and typically doesn’t require a reef until the wind is over 20 knots.

40' Endeavour 40
1984 British Virgin Islands Outside United States 40 Endeavour 40
British Virgin Islands. Looking for a pocket cruiser to suit your pocket, then look no further. The Endeavour 40 comes with all you require to cruise the islands in comfort and budget. The magic 40ft mark that keeps it cheap for marinas and big enough to feel comfortable. She was my floating home for me and my cat for two years and even though I did not sail very far, (as my work keeps me busy), she has been proven. Most modern yachts do not boast the equipment levels that she carries, nor the spares. As sad as I am to let her go, I have moved ashore (and the cat is much happier I can vouch for), yet, no boat should stand still to long as neglect is the biggest killer of all. ** AND SO, for this very reason (Oct21st 2016) I have decided to drop the asking price - WAS 69,000 NOW $54,000.00 to reflect she is not so shiny any more. Email for the full honest description - If this tickles your taste buds. Read on. I have the full service history of the yacht from 1989, giving oil change dates, work done, things you would not normally have access to, and I am the third owner (that I am aware of) but have slacked on keeping such detailed accounts, but I can expand on any of the work I have undertaken. There are still things to do, as with all boats, and I have a compiled list of them, but I have upgraded the important stuff, such as new skin fittings and seacocks, chain plates, batteries, sail and stack pack, stove, solar panels and more. Improvements can still be made, but electronics are personal and I had no need of them. Surveyed 3 years ago and a clean bill of health. I can not - and this is not an exaggeration - list every single item you would receive with this yacht, but there is a spare EVERYTHING on board - from engine gaskets to blocks to filters for the fresh water system - to batteries for the flashlight.

1993 Ashtabula Ohio 28'4 Catalina 270LE SL
Wild Blue Yonder is a fresh water Catalina 270, designed to provide rewarding performance and comfortable accommodations for the active sailing family. Both goals are accomplished through the selection of a stable hull form with generous beam and fine entry forward. This approach delivers a hull that is wide at the sheer for maximum deck space, reserve buoyancy and good performance to weather. Semi-elliptical wing keels are matched with a balanced elliptical rudder to insure predictable handling and a balanced helm in a variety of conditions. The rigging has double spreaders with fore and aft lowers which make the mast very stable, easy to set up and tune. This design provides the narrow shroud base necessary for proper Genoa sheeting to weather. The deck is highlighted by a "big boat" cockpit seats with ergonomically contoured seat backs necessary for long term comfort aboard. This has been a fresh water boat for it entire existence and has been extremely well maintained. The bilge is bone dry and most of the equipment has been added or replaced in the last 10 years. Wild Blue Yonder includes, Nmea 2000, 6 bags of sails including 2 spinnakers, and all accessory and trailer which was completely rebuilt in 2014.

1976 Portage Des Sioux Missouri 34 Contest 34 cutter rigged sloop
Recent survey furnished by request. This 34 foot Dutch built sloop has crossed the Atlantic Ocean. She is well equipped with all equipment but some of it is dated and will need updating. That said, she is very seaworthy and would be a great boat to travel to the Bahamas or wherever. The Volvo engine runs well. Sails are all in good usable condition. Boat is well equipped for cruising with Force 10 furnace,Paloma on demand hot water heater Balmar gimbaled stove with oven, Adler Barbour refrigeration and much more. I bought a cruising boat 5 years ago and have cruised extensively. I wish this boat had been available when I bought mine. I will help the new owner with advice and assistance in preparing to go cruising. It is an adventure that you won't regret. The death of the owner requires the sale. You may have your head turned by a shiny Catalina or Beneteau but this tough beauty was built to Lloyds of London strict standards and will far outlast those modern thin skinned hulls.

MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN! I have sailed most of my life and thought I was retiring on this 1984 Gemini 30 Catamaran, but after my wife's double knee replacement, even a catamaran was just too much for her to bear. We worked on the boat for almost two years, then cruised from Key Largo to Beaufort, S.C. and back to our home in Ft. Pierce, Fl. It has been extensively refurbished (added 17 opening ports including four 20X20 to replace fixed plexi windshield, rebuilt (replaced centerboards with minikeels), and repowered (2015 Yamaha High Thrust) for more comfortability, livability, and sailing ability. All changes have been weight neutral. Extensive list of new equipment, spares, etc. This is a documented vessel of /- 6000 pounds. More available upon request. $34,500 negotiable, must sell. A highly regarded tender that rows very well, is extremely stable and sails decently. The three spars of the gunter rig all fit within the boat. The centre-board trunk is fully enclosed and intrudes very little in to the boat. I'd love to keep this dinghy but she is really too big as a tender for our Cornish Crabber 24 - if and when we move to a motorsailer or a "terminal sailboat" I've no doubt I'll regret parting with her. As soon as I have a few more photos I'll expand this to a paid listing and add some links. In the meantime please don't hesitate to contact me - I can email those links. No trailer is included with the dinghy but I am open to discussing delivery for a reasonable charge.

28' Cape Dory 28
1974 Camden Maine 28 Cape Dory 28
*Happy to help put her up for the winter! or do it all for you! We genuinely love this boat, only selling for a bigger boat for living aboard. Big enough to cruise for a week or two in comfort, stout enough for off-shore passages and small enough to tack around the mooring field or sail onto the dock on a quick evening sail. AHAVA is in good condition. I replaced a number of "soft spots" on the deck by cutting out the balsa core and replacing/ re-glassing the areas. We have stripped and varnished (well, admittedly it is cetol) the cockpit coming. topsides and cabin top/ deck have been repainted with EZpoxy (teal blue and some variation of white respectively) In the fall we sailed her from maine to Norfolk, VA and in early march sailed her back from Norfolk to Camden mostly offshore with stops in cape may (fuel) block island (weather) and Gluocester to drop off a friend. Gloucester to Camden was mostly in about 25-30kts on the beem and quarter and she happily reached along at 6.5 kts much of the time. She is in the water and we would love to show her. Thank you for looking!

21' Precision 21
2000 Precision 21 Sailboat, plus Trailer and Outboard ($11,750) Just in time for the winter/spring sailing season and summer in the high country. The Precision 21 is the perfect trailer sailor. At 1800 lbs, the boat is easily towed by a small truck or SUV and easily launched and retrieved. Designed by a naval architect, Precision sailboats are wonderful sailing vessels. These boats are very stable with a shallow lead keel (14" draft) and a swing-down centerboard. We purchased and refitted "Finecian" last year to sail and camp in lakes across the west. We made it as far as Lake Powell (see photos), but our circumstances have now changed and we must part with this fabulous boat. The boat is in excellent condition inside and out; it has been stored on a trailer and never used in salt water.  Details »

33' Fisher 33
Here's your chance to own one of the most unique Great Lakes sailboats afloat today. Her name is "White Wing" and she was built by Fisher Boat Works in Detroit in 1948. Associated with General Motors, Fisher Boat Works constructed boats for the Navy (some of which saw action during WW2). They also built yachts, with the same care and pride and toughness they would for a submarine chaser carrying brave American soldiers and sailors. "White Wing" was no exception - designed by perhaps the most famous naval architectural firm of all time, Sparkman and Stevens, she's true classic, perhaps as close to a work of art as a boat will ever get. Don't let her age fool you - she's sailed successfully every summer, and last summer was no exception. This boat is 100% "ready to go" and needs absolutely nothing. The brightwork is pristine and she's structurally and mechanically impeccable. The owner spared no expense - the boat has always spent winters indoors, and that is where she awaits your inspection, at Larsen Marine Service in Waukegan. Winter storage and launch paid. Absolutely no offer will go unconsidered. When selecting a boat for next summer, ask yourself - do I want a plastic fantastic? Do I want a boring boat with no soul? Or do I want something from an era when craftsmanship, quality and pride actually meant something? Come see her - it's truly hard to get an idea of her beauty without seeing her in person.  Details »

23.5' Hunter 23.5 Sloop
This flexible, spacious boat is perfect for the retired couple or family looking to enjoy SW Florida’s harbors and coast. Trailerability, comfort, quality and fun are the key components in the Hunter 23.5. A water ballast system, the boat weighs 2,000 pounds on the trailer and takes on 1,000 pounds of water as ballast, is central to the Hunter 23.5's ability to be easily trailered. Additionally the swing centerboard brings her minimum draft to 18" for almost limitless gunkholing among the islands along the Florida west coast. The unique mast raising system allows for reduced launch time. The Hunter 23.5 has a large cockpit with centerboard controls and all running rigging is led aft for sailing comfort and safety. Below is a spacious cabin with two double berths, convertible settees, a functional galley and a portable head tucked under the forward berth. LOA:23'8", beam 8'4", draft (board up/ down) 18"/ 5'6",  Details »

The cockpit is roomy, including two aft rail seats to provide extra space, and is covered by a bimini. For the first time cruiser or the would-be racer, this Ericson 28 would make an excellent choice for a value-driven boat with proven sailing ability, a voluminous amount of interior space, along with beautiful brightwork. This is a very clean, two owner boat, lovingly maintained and she shows her value well. The Ericson 28 is a Bruce King designed single spreader cruiser / racer with a good amount of space for the length. It has a large rear quarter berth and a nice quarter galley that includes hot and cold pressure water and a propane stove and oven. She is truly a beautiful example of an Ericson 28 , based on the same mold as Bruce King's popular Ericson 30 with wide side decks, a snug and practical cabin, and a beautiful sheer with a high, rounded bow, and shallow concave arc of the cabin-top.  Details »

A note on buying and selling safely:
Anytime you buy or sell on the Internet, due to the geographic reach of the ads, be careful of fraud.

It has recently come to our attention that at least one seller has received a scam e-mail offer in which the buyer offered to overpay for the boat and then requests a check for the difference in return - what has come to be known as a classic "Nigeria" scam.

Requests to overpay for the boat and have excess money returned or given to a shipping company are most likely fraudulent -- never do this without consulting with your bank first.

Please always use caution and your best judgment if presented with a deal which doesn't seem logical, and be sure to talk with your bank to be sure all checks and transactions have been completed, cleared, and verified before releasing any property. Be especially careful of any transactions from overseas where such transactions might be reversed after some time due to fraud.

  • Never give your password to anyone. SailboatListings.com will never ask for your password. Any such request is an attempt at phishing.
  • Be careful of buyers or sellers using free email addresses (hotmail, yahoo, etc.)
  • Contact the buyer or seller by (non-cell) phone as well as online to help confirm their identity.
  • If a boat is not where it says it is, this is a strong indication of fraud.
  • After discussing the details, have the boat surveyed and arrange to see the boat before any money changes hands.
